Gregor Hildebrandt (All)
Gregor Hildebrandt (Ge) was born in 1974 in Hamburg. His works hide the associations they generate is what comes to our mind when we look at them. Considered as a meticulous genius, this artist has shown his work in various prestigious places as the Berlinische Gallery, the Jan Ventrup gallery in Berlin, Almine Rech in Paris and Brussels. He can be seen as romantic which grows up with the eighties’rock, some of Hidlebrandt’ works such as Nebukadnezar uses the music as a recurrent motif with its myths and materials. They let them invade by the sound but no noise crosses them. That is the ambiguity of the work of this artist and this surprising virtuosity.
