Rainier Lericolais (Fr)
Mobile, Deux Cors & 88 constellations
Installation
Site des Anciens Abattoirs / Grande Halle

Rainier Lericolais is both a visual artist and a musician who likes to invent sounds and twist musical objects to turn them into arts works. He is interested in the transcription and reproduction of sound, the waves and vibrations. The installation Deux cors (two horns) becomes a sculpture while Mobile functions as a drawing that moves lightly in the space. These recent pieces are inspired by wind instruments. 88 constellations is a score for barrel organ, made of a transparent plastic moulding of a perforate record, always in this idea to embezzle the object of sound.
