
Locustream promenade is an installation/sound-hearing device made of ten “ sounds showers in the public space. This project is based on an in progress system of “open microphones” located in different places in the world that broadcast -permanently and directly- a sound streaming sound . These soundscapes sometimes coming from remote areas can be heard in real time when the auditor/spectator stands under the parabola (each one has a different source-live sound). This installation allows a different sort of listening and consciousness of our sound environment. The streams are coming from Spain, USA, Canada, Nigeria, Sweden, China…
