Jim Shaw has conceived his world from heterogeneous sources (personal story, American culture and Christian culture symbols…) and used various mediums (drawings, sculptures, installations and monumental paintings). In 2002, he invented a matriarchal religion the “O-ism” which he keeps on defining the history, the dogma and the rites in his work. These pictures show the artist himself using music instruments similar to organs, conceived for some ceremonies and 0-ist rites.
